These are real cases that I have worked.
My happiest moment is when I recovered a missing little girl that had been missing for over 2 years. She was only a year old when she was taken by her father, who had already battered her mother when she got pregnant and tried to make her lose the baby he was now taking away.
He had sexually abused his nephews and was under investigation when he left with the baby.
He left with his male lover and they never knew where they went. The grand mother sold everything she had to recover the grandbaby. She had used 3 other private investigators, who gladly took her money and gave very little results.
The mother had became unstable, with mental issues from the beatings. They both came to me crying and after talking to them I got information I could use to help find the baby. They only had $450.00. As a Father and Grandfather, I knew their pain. After 4 months of searching, I could now take them with me to try and recover the child. I found out he and his male lover were working for the Yellow cab company in eastern Kentucky. After no help from yellow cab, I knew they would have to get permits locally at the court house to operate the cab. So I went to get the information. While there I stopped by voters registration and got all the information I needed to find them. I didn't need the permit information anymore. It was a pitiful site to see. The condition of the house they were living in. I knew I had only a few hours left to recover the child because they were moving again. A neighbor who babysat the baby helped us find out where the baby was. The baby was dressed like a little boy and they called her Charlie. She was playing about 3 blocks from the Police Department at another friends of her fathers,

The man lied to me when I question him about where the little girl was. As I got into the car, the father and child walked from behind the house upon the porch.
The mother and grand mother in my back seat, started crying, saying there's my baby . I said where. she said that little boy is my grand daughter.
Needless to say I caused a big seen with the father, so the Police would be called. The father already had 3 warrants on him, so they would have to arrest him once I found him. Believe it or not, they weren't going to arrest him until I got the Judge on the phone, who had been handling the case. As local Police they even had to call the Sheriffs Department to make sure they could or not. It took another 2 hours before we could leave with the child. We all happily cried on the way home...
